Maybe you've heard about the brush fires in Florida.
Well, I'd thought they had them under control. Aparently not. This morning the smoke was back. My early morning drive to Port Saint John was interesting. Luckily, there was a car in front of me to show me where to go. I was on Route 1 and the visibility was really bad. They closed Interstate 95 and sent folks to Route 1! I can't even imagine how bad 95 must have been! Route 528 was also closed due to smoke. After dropping the kids off, I went to the river for the sunrise. I have, once again, deleted the irritating telephone poles. Cough! Choke! Cough! Man! It was smoky! On the radio, they said that the fires have gone underground. Now, how's THAT for a ridiculous Sci-Fi movie trick? |

I never really smelled the smoke at my house till this morning though.
I figured that it might make for a pretty sunrise so I brought my camera.
I was glad that I did.

The sky is the limit
and I love how the sun looks like its just settling down in the smoke, like it was tired and didnt want to wake up quite yet so it laid back down for a few minutes. (and then the few minutes turned into a half hour and it woke up suddenly remembering that she still had to do her speech homework and jason would be picking her up in 20 minutes and so she jumped out of bed and hopelessly tried to finish but gave up and is now sitting in the computer lab hours after class is over trying to finish them up before the bank closes so she can hurry over and cash her checks that way she can afford to go to CVS and buy some hair dye to get the black out and maybe be a blonde for a few days, just to try something new.)(oh wait... thats me!)
so yeah, I might be a blonde tomorrow. We'll see how that works out lol

The photo itself is very nice and I think the smoke adds to it a bit. Brings out some of the colors you would otherwise not see.
